Man suspected of stabbing his father to death indicted by grand jury

The Lima man accused of murdering his father has been indicted on three charges by the Allen County Grand Jury.

31-year-old Timothy Youngblood is facing two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault. He's accused of murdering his father, 65-year-old Van Youngblood, on July 9th.

Investigators say that Van Youngblood suffered stab wounds to his upper torso and neck from a "sword-like object". During a preliminary hearing, sheriff's investigators said on the stand that Youngblood repeatedly said during their interviews that he blacked out and didn't recall what happened around the hour that his dad died.
