Two people were taken into custody during a drug bust earlier this week.
The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force arrested 26-year-old Lavonte Collins and 20-year-old Sierra Fair after serving a drug warrant on a home in the 1400 block of West High Street. Officers seized suspected fentanyl, suspected crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. They also found a stolen firearm. Collins and Fair were taken to jail on unrelated warrants, the case will be sent to the Allen County Grand Jury to see if additional charges will be filed.
Media Release from the Allen County Sheriff's Office: On Wednesday, August 10, 2022 the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, assisted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team, served a narcotics related search warrant at 1436 W. High St. Lima, Allen County, Ohio.
During the search of the residence, suspected fentanyl, suspected crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a stolen firearm were located. The resident, Lavonte Ceome Collins (DOB: 03/13/1996), and Sierra Nichole Fair (DOB: 11/21/2001) were taken into custody at the scene on unrelated warrants.
The investigation is ongoing with additional charges expected to be presented for consideration to a future session of the Allen County Grand Jury.
