Northland Plaza building collapses

Part of a Lima building collapsed overnight.

The incident happened at a building at Northland Plaza. The former Rent-A-Center building next to Chief Supermarket partially collapsed. Bricks from the roof of the building tumbled over and caused damage to the awning and to the sidewalk as well. There were no injuries from the incident and construction crews are currently working on renovations. The building is owned by Coastal Equities out of Weston, Florida.
