COLUMBUS, Ohio (WLIO) — Ohio’s Secretary of State has released a list of 352,389 inactive voters who will be removed from voting lists in September unless they take action.
To be included on the list, individuals must not have voted in the last four years in the county where they are registered. Voters who have moved or passed away will be dropped from the statewide voter registration database.
If neither of those situations applies, voters on the list will need to update their registrations online or at their county’s board of elections to be eligible to vote this November.
Those on the list will remain on voter rolls for the primary election in May. If they vote in that election, their information will be updated.
