Students, staff, and faculty at the Ohio State University Lima campus all took time to help keep their campus clean.
An event called Spring Campus Cleanup saw groups travel to different trials located around the Webb and Student Services Center to help pick out weeds, throw out trash, and more.
Organizers for the event say that the event can especially help students learn the value of keeping their campus clean, and skills that they can take with them in everyday life.
"This is an opportunity for them to learn some skills, so when they get out there on your own, you know how to weed, to landscape, how to work together as a team, so we see this as transferable skill development as well," said Justin F. Courtney, OSU Lima Student Life Manager. "That they are not only going to beautify the campus but they are also getting better connected to it, and learn how to do some things when they get out on their own."
