OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO)- The Ottawa-Glandorf volleyball team hosted the Elida Bulldogs for their first-ever "Pink Night Out" event on Thursday. 

The fundraiser supported the Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program, known as CAP. The event featured a 50/50 drawing, raffle baskets, a silent auction, and handmade blankets created by the team. All proceeds go directly to CAP, which helps local cancer patients with medical bills, prescriptions, transportation, and other expenses.

“Today we get to have CAP here, and all the proceeds go to CAP, which is great because in Putnam County that’s huge,” said Gabrielle Martin, a volleyball mom. “It’s very helpful and does a lot. It also helps the girls come together as a family, which we really support here, and we get to support a great cause.”
