VAN WERT, Ohio (WLIO) – Authorities are investigating a break-in at a Van Wert pharmacy early Thursday morning.

Van Wert Police Chief Doug Weigle said that just before 6:30 a.m., an alarm went off at Westwood Behavior Health at 1158 Westwood Drive in Van Wert.

When officers and deputies arrived, they found the front door had been forced open and that suspects had entered the pharmacy. It hasn't been released how much or if anything was stolen. No one was inside the building when Van Wert Police Officers and Van Wert County Deputies arrived.

Video cameras show “three males dressed in black entering the building.”

Today at 0629hrs, the Van Wert Police department received a call of an alarm going off at Westwood Behavior Health (1158 Westwood Dr).

Van Wert Police Department and the Van Wert Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The front door was forced in and the pharmacy was entered. The Van Wert Sheriff’s office, K-9 was sent in to clear the building and no one was located inside.

Video footage showed 3 males dressed in all black made entry into the building.
