Prospective students got the chance to hear about the honors program at Ohio State Lima.
Around 20 high school students came to the campus to talk to Ohio State faculty and students about the different things that the program has to offer. Plus, also they also took part in a leadership activity and learned about all the honors classes offered. The university wants the students to understand there are a lot of opportunities to engage and excel on the Lima campus.
“The honors program is for students that are motivated, who want more, who really want to enrich their experience in college,” says Dr. Britt Collier-Gibson, the Director of the Honor Program at OSU Lima. “And so we have tuition, we have scholarships, we have experiences where we meet with professionals in the field.”
The honors program also takes trips. The current members will be heading to Chicago for a fun and educational experience.
