ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A Lima man has been ruled competent to stand trial this coming December.
A report submitted to Allen County Common Pleas Court states that Mark Seffernick will be competent to stand trial later this year. He was arrested and charged with a count of felonious assault and improper discharge of a firearm after a standoff at 1008 Albert Street. Police say that shots were fired from the house at them during the standoff, while also shots fired at their armored vehicle on scene. A jury trial is now set for December 12, 2023.
