Soybean Storage Building Fire in Uniopolis

Three Auglaize county fire departments kept busy on January 30th, 2016  with a stubborn grain fire.

It happened around 4:30 at Trupointe Cooperative in Uniopolis.

A firefighter on the scene tells us that soybeans inside this building were smoldering in several places.

Uniopolis fire was assisted by St. John’s and Wayne Township’s fire departments.

Trupointe officials were expected to monitor the situation throughout the night.
