CLEVELAND, OH (WLIO) - A Spencerville man has been to 17 and half years for having sex with a 15-year-old girl from Illinois.
36-year-old Jeffrey Deitsch was sentenced by the Northern District Federal Court on the charges of coercion and enticement of a minor and transporting a minor across state lines for illicit sexual activity. According to the court documents, shortly after being released from prison for abducting another woman, Deitsch met a 15-year-old girl online in June of 2020 and brought her back to an Allen County hotel. The Allen County Sheriff's Office was contacted by Illinois law enforcement to say the runaway girl was at the hotel. She told deputies that Deitsch instructed her to tell them that she was 18, but he knew she was 15.
