LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A unique car show display was held over at the Springview Manor.
Both Lima community members and residents of the manor took part in the 11th annual car show to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, with each car at the event donating $10 towards the special cause on top of the money raised throughout the evening. But the fun didn't stop there, as the residents on hand had the chance to vote on their favorite cars while enjoying the food, vendors, and perfect weather on the day with their friends, family, and loved ones.

"They love seeing the old cars, and they will talk about this for days just because it brings back a lot of family memories as well."
"We actually do a residents choice. Somebody will be getting a trophy this evening that the residents have picked out their favorite car. They love seeing the old cars, and they will talk about this for days just because it brings back a lot of family memories as well. That is another reason that we do this a lot because the residents truly enjoy this, and we get to have that money donated to that good cause," told Samantha Kerner, Springview Manor.
