LIMA (WLIO) - The Springview Manor nursing home had their garden party for residents and their families.

The annual event brought the friends and family of the homes' residents together for a fun and relaxing evening.

Those who joined had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful artwork display made by the residents and the outdoor scenery around the campus.

However, the night was not complete without food, live entertainment, and a caricature drawing of yourself to cap off the night's festivities.

"I love to see the residents smile when we bring out their artwork from the year, and they say that 'I remember doing this' and 'this was fun.' I just love the beautiful artwork they do. Art is part of therapy, so it's really good for everybody to bring back the smiles on their faces, knowing that they are contributing to the community in their own way," told Samantha Kerner, Director of Sales at the Springview Manor.
