St. Mark's United Methodist Church's third annual "Community Day"

It's all about community and what the Lima area has to offer to help residents succeed.

More than 20 local agencies and organizations will be at St. Mark's United Methodist Church for their 3rd "Community Day" this upcoming Saturday. They are opening their doors to the public to encourage them to learn about what services are out there to help them. There will also be a free meal and free garage sale along with free haircuts and free massages. It's all in an effort to get people involved.

"This gives them the opportunity to actually come in and meet other people and for things that they didn't even know what was going on or how they could get involved. So doing this gives them that opportunity with St. Mark's and it also lets them know that you know St. Mark's has the little things we can offer too as of our food pantry, our free store, so we've got a lot of things we can offer also," explained Tracey Howard, St. Mark's Resource Center.

St. Mark's "Community Day" is this Saturday, September 29th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 1110 North Metcalf Street.
