Marion Local uses a big fourth quarter to end Lincolnview's incredible run, Flyers return to state title game

(WRIGHT STATE) — Marion Local used a strong second half and a late surge to defeat Lincolnview 46-30 in an all-local Division VI state semifinal.
The Flyers led 22-19 at halftime and maintained control throughout the third quarter before closing the game on a 12-2 run.
Brayden Mescher led all scorers with 23 points, while Max Hammons paced Lincolnview with 15.
Despite a competitive start, the Lancers were unable to keep up down the stretch as their season comes to an end at 22-5.
Marion Local improves to 26-1 and advances to the state championship game for the second straight year, where they will face Berlin Hiland at UD Arena.
