Lima West Middle School students were having a ball while supporting Bath student Stormy Smith.
The Builders Club at West Middle School organized a dodgeball tournament in support of Smith. It pitted 7th and 8th graders against each other on the court. The club was looking for a project and thought the tourney was a great idea that everyone could get behind.
8th Grade Builders Club President Mady James explains, “It’s $2 per student to play and each student paid their $2 to play and come to the tournament.”
The championship game had Mr. Gilmore’s Class coming out on top of 16 teams that competed.
