Over 500 students in the College of Applied Technologies and University of Northwestern Ohio athletes have been moving into their student housing for the past couple of days.
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The students, from 35 different states and 26 countries, will be making Lima their home during their college career as they move on to the UNOH campus.
For some, this is the first time that they will be living away from home, so the university will be holding various activities, so they get to know one another.
Over 500 students in the College of Applied Technologies and University of Northwestern Ohio athletes have been moving into their student housing for the past couple of days. Another 200 students from the Colleges of Business, health, and occupational professions will be moving on campus in September. For some, this is the first time that they will be living away from home, so the university will be holding various activities, so they get to know one another.
The students, from 35 different states and 26 countries, will be making Lima their home during their college career as they move on to the UNOH campus.
"My advice to them is to get out and about and make friends. Don't stay in your dorm. Be active, get involved, stay involved," says Marlo Duffy, UNOH director of housing. "We have clubs and activities; go out and meet new people."Â
The College of Applied Technologies starts classes on Monday, and the rest of the colleges will start on September 16th.Â
