A local church is stepping up to do its part in addressing the drug epidemic in the community.
Savior's Grace Ministries in Lima is holding an anti-drug rally and expo this Saturday. The Take it to the Street event will have testimonials from individuals who made the change and are now living life free of drugs. Organizers hope people will come out and hear their stories and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship, food, and fun. They believe getting to know your neighbors is key to helping someone make the change that could save their life.
The Take it to the Street anti-drug rally is Saturday September 23, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Dr. Martin Luther King Park located on 8th Street. It's a free event and the public is invited to attend.
