The Allen Lima Leadership Youth Class of 2022 wrapping up their year with presentations to the Lima Rotary Club.

The Allen Lima Leadership Youth Class will be helping those with disabilities turn them into abilities as their class project

The students presented three class project proposals to the Rotarians who then voted on which one would become their class project. The choices included “Project Hope”, “Team Break’d”, and “Kind Minds.” The winner, “Project Hope, or Helping Others Persevere Every Day,” in which the students are looking to assist in turning disabilities into abilities.

Project Hope team captain Rose Kottapalli explains, “Project Hope is going to be an organization, a non-profit to help students with disabilities be more integrated into a community at a time when they need it the most.”

The ALL-Youth class received a $2,500 grant from the United Way of Greater Lima to jump-start “Project Hope”.
