Come one, come all, come support the park by coming to the circus!
The "Culpepper and Merriweather Great Combined Circus" is coming to Cridersville next week. The event is a fundraiser for the Legacy Park project. Skeeter the Clown was in town promoting the event at the school and several other locations. The Cridersville Historical Society is hosting the event and will receive a portion of ticket sales for the park project. This is the 225th anniversary of the American circus and Skeeter says everyone should come out and experience what it's like under the big top.
The circus is Tuesday, May 15th with two big shows, 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. You can save with advanced tickets, with 50% of adult and 25% of child and senior tickets going back to the legacy park project. Celebrity ringmaster will be elementary principal Jason Wolke. The circus also invites the public to the raising of the big top and a behind the scenes tour starting at 9:30 a.m.
You can find out more by going to the Cridersville Historical Society's Facebook page.
