The devastating fires in Gatlinburg, Tennessee took at lot from the residents there, but one local company is looking for help to give back to those affected.
The fire that torched over 17,000 acres across the Smokey Mountains last week, damaged or destroyed more than 1,600 homes and businesses. Some of the residents in that area have been left with nothing. That's why the Grounds Guys are collecting donations like used clothing and toiletry items. The items will be taken to a sister company in that area to be handed out to the victims of the fire. They say they feel it's important to be a good neighbor when tragedy happens.
If you are interested in making a donation, you can drop those off between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at 7230 North West Street in Lima, or you can all their office at 567-825-2088 for any questions. Josh Luna says to check their Facebook page "The Grounds Guys of Lima and Findlay" for updates on any new drop-off locations and the date they will be taking donations south, sometime in the next few weeks.
