The Heritage Harmonics presented their “Rock and Roll is Here to Stay” show. The students have been learning melodies, rhythm, and dance steps this year to several old classics like “Rockin Robbin” and “Blue Suede Shoes.” The group then gets to hit the road and perform for area organizations and the kids say they enjoy getting to show off their groove thing.

Eihanna Jackson from the 4th grade says, “I do enjoy dancing. It’s fun and it just gives you an activity to do. And I don’t know, it’s really nice to do. You’ve just got to pay attention and you know focus on the words and the moves. And it will be pretty easy after a while.”

Many of the students in the “Harmonics” also participate in the Kiwanis “K-Kids” program.
