COLUMBUS, OH (WLIO) - Ohio State Lima's next dean could be named before summer.
OSU President Ted Carter gave his State of the University address yesterday in Columbus. He says Ohio State will be naming a new provost and deans for four regional campuses in a few weeks, which includes the Lima campus. Dr. Margaret Young has been serving as the interim dean of the Lima campus for the last year.
Since taking over as president in January, Carter has been talking to staff, students, and faculty to learn more about the state's largest university. He announced during his address that he wants to take the university to the next level and will be asking for input from Ohio State employees through a 14-question survey to help guide the future of the university.
