The Women in Leadership of West Central Ohio received a special talk Wednesday afternoon to talk about the power of opportunity.
Around 70 women were present to hear Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor talk about the opportunities women can have in the workplace. She used her experiences as State Auditor and Lieutenant Governor to show that opportunities can come from anywhere and when they don't expect it. Taylor says that women working together is a valuable resource.
"I think it's really important for women to support other women, for women to explain their pathway, to the success that we all have in our lives," Taylor said.
Taylor also spoke about the heroin epidemic in Ohio at the luncheon.
