Three teenagers have been charged with the death of an Ohio mom who tried to stop them from stealing her car with her child inside.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Three teenagers have been charged with the death of an Ohio mom who tried to stop them from stealing her car with her child inside. A 19-year-old and two 16-year-olds have been charged with murder for the death of 29-year-old Alexa Stakely on the evening of July 11th.

Stakely was at an apartment complex picking up her son from the babysitter. She placed her son in the car and went back to meet the babysitter at the doorway to pick up more of his things when one of the 16-year-olds jumped into the running vehicle and took off. Stakely tried to stop them. They hit her and she suffering a fatal wound to her head. The 16-year-olds could be tried as adults if the Franklin County judge finds there is just cause. The 19-year-old is being held on a 10 million dollar bond.
