MERCER COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The case continues for a Mercer County couple charged with being part of the January 6, 2021, storming of the U.S. Capitol.

Donald and Shawndale Chilcoat are facing numerous federal charges from the events of that day, including disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building and obstruction or impeding any official proceeding. A hearing was set for last week for a change of plea, but the case is continuing with a status conference set for next month.
According to the criminal complaint, the Chilcoats are seen in pictures and video from inside the Capitol Building.
