Allen County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Reed sentenced David Turner to 36 months in prison and ordered him to be registered as a Tier 2 Sex offender for 25 years. Turner plead guilty to one count of abduction and one count of gross sexual imposition.
A then 17 year old came forward and told how Turner has violated him sexually on multiple occasions. The teen was able to record audio of Turner during one of the incidents and him saying no repeatedly. During the sentencing hearing, the victim spoke and told the court about how his has contemplated suicide multiple times, since Turner's actions toward him.
Prosecutors says since the news of the charges went public, her office, detectives for the Lima Police Department and Crime Victim Services have had other young men come forward and say that Turner has done the same thing to them.
Turner apologized to the victim and family before he was sentenced.
