LIMA, OH (WLIO) - An online auction will soon kick off to help fund programs to help those in need in Allen County.
The United Way of Greater Lima's online auction will be open for its first bid on Monday, November 6th, at 8 a.m. and will run until Monday, November 20th until 10 p.m. Items that will be up for auction have been donated by more than thirty-five area businesses that include gift certificates, Browns and Bengals game tickets, OSU items, and even an inflatable hot tub. The money raised will stay in the area and go to agencies to help those in Lima and Allen County.
"This will go into the general fund. What that goes to is our partner agencies that each serve something different in our community. So they fit under health, education, and financial stability, and the programs that we fund, this money will help go to programs as they are needed in the community," explained Erin Hardesty, United Way of Greater Lima.
