LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â The Lima Police Department is investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting on the west side of the city. Officers were called out to the 800 block of MacKenzie Drive around 12:30 Saturday afternoon for a report of a shooting. LPD discovered on scene that a verbal dispute between two adult males had previously occurred. The verbal dispute turned physical as one of the males pulled out a gun and shot the other male. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the gunshot wound. The suspect was taken into custody and is currently being held on suspicion of felonious assault.
