0030 hrs. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence on Westwood Drive in the City of Van Wert for a subject having difficulty breathing.
0435 hrs. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Pleasant Township for a subject feeling dizzy.
0801 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of West Main Street in the City of Van Wert for a report of a loose dog.
0813 hrs. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Bergner Road in Pleasant Township for a subject who fainted.
0951 hrs. – Deputies, along with Ohio City Fire and EMS, responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on U.S. Route 224 in Pleasant Township. The incident was investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
1108 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Washington Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The incident was investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
1151 hrs. – Deputies responded to a location on West Ervin Road in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1216 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of State Route 118 in Liberty Township to remove debris from the road.
1252 hrs. – Deputies spoke with a resident from Old Tile Factory Road in Pleasant Township for a report of fraud.
1359 hrs. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS and Delphos EMS to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Washington Township for a subject with neck and back pain.
1434 hrs. – Deputies responded to a wooded area in Pleasant Township, located west of North Washington Street, for a complaint of trespassing.
1520 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Elm Street in the Village of Convoy for a report of a loose dog.
1537 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on West Carmean Street in the Village of Ohio City for a report of theft from a vehicle.
1549 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of State Route 49 in Willshire Township for a report of an injured deer.
1605 hrs. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Pleasant Township for a subject who had fallen.
1638 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on North Franklin Street in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1750 hrs. – Deputies, along with Van Wert Fire, responded to a residence on John Brown Road in Pleasant Township for a report of a possible structure fire.
1756 hrs. – Deputies responded to the area of State Route 81 in York Township for a motor vehicle crash involving a deer; no injuries were reported.
1842 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Guilford Road in York Township for a report of a stray dog.
1942 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on West Carmean Street in the Village of Ohio City for a report of a deceased person. No foul play is suspected.

0859 hrs. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Paulding County for Probation Violation. Drew Alan Ducheney, age 29, of York Township, was transported to Scott and turned over to the Paulding County Sheriff.
0935 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of State Route 49 in Tully Township for a report of a disabled vehicle.
1031 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Burris Road in Liberty Township for a report of theft.
1121 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Boyd Avenue in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1142 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Willshire Ohio City Road in Willshire Township to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1152 hrs. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for Fourth Degree Felony Grand Theft, Fifth Degree Felony Theft, and Forgery. Heather Lynn Book, age 39, of Ada, was transported from the Paulding County Jail to the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.
1211 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Garden Drive in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1251 hrs. – Deputies, along with Ohio City Fire and EMS, responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on State Route 118 in Liberty Township. The incident was investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
1400 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on John Brown Road in Pleasant Township for a complaint of telecommunications harassment.
1516 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Ridge Township for an automatic iPhone notification of a possible crash. No incident was located.
1655 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Washington Township to remove debris.
1714 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Mason Street in the Village of Middle Point for a complaint of ATVs racing down the streets.
1732 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 127 in Liberty Township for a report of reckless driving.
1846 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on East Jackson Street in the Village of Middle Point for a stray dog.
1852 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on U.S. Route 224 in Hoaglin Township to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1947 hrs. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Washington Township for a subject needing assistance getting up off the floor.
2026 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Waller Road in Tully Township for a report of a loose dog.
2056 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Pleasant Township to remove debris from the roadway.
2224 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Harrison Center Road for a motor vehicle crash involving a coon. No injuries were reported.

0138 hrs. – Dispatched Middle Point EMS to a residence on Converse Roselm Road in Washington Township for a subject having cardiac issues.
0407 hrs. – Deputies responded to a commercial alarm at a location on Lincoln Highway in Washington Township.
0516 hrs. – Dispatched Convoy EMS to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Pleasant Township for a subject who had previously fallen.
0658 hrs. – Deputies, along with Middle Point Fire and EMS, responded to an area of State Route 116 in Ridge Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Unit One was a 2009 Dodge 1500 driven by Thomas E. Anderson of Middle Point. Unit One was traveling eastbound, negotiating a curve in State Route 116 west of the intersection of Poe Road. Unit One went off the right side of the roadway and struck a power pole on the passenger side of the truck. The force of the impact turned Unit One to face southbound in the field. The power pole was broken, and a live power wire was lying on the roof of the truck. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. Both individuals denied injuries and were checked out by Middle Point EMS. The driver was issued a citation for failure to control and for a seatbelt violation.
1037 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Woodland Avenue in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.
1221 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on State Route 116 in Jennings Township to stand by as peace officers while a subject retrieved property.
1303 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on Boyd Avenue in the City of Van Wert to check the welfare of a dog.
1411 hrs. – Deputies responded to a residence on U.S. Route 33 in Willshire Township for a report of a dog bite.
1805 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of U.S. Route 30 in Tully Township for a report of an occupied disabled vehicle.
1857 hrs. – Deputies responded to an area of Shaffer Street in the City of Van Wert for a report of a stray dog.
1910 hrs. – Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Pleasant Township for a medical alarm.
