WAPAKONETA, OHIO (WLIO) - The Wapakoneta Chamber of Commerce recognized the good work done by businesses and individuals in the area.
During their Annual Meeting and Community Awards Dinner Thursday night, new chamber director Lindsey Young says their organization saw more growth this year as more businesses joined the chamber. While 2024 has had some challenges, the chamber is glad they can recognize businesses and individuals who continue to have a positive influence in the Wapakoneta community.
“Events like this remind us just how vibrant our community is, and there is so much good going on in the community, and I think this is a good opportunity to showcase that. Because a lot of times it goes unnoticed, so this is the time that we can actually notice what is actually going on,” says Lindsey Young, Ex. Dir. Wapakoneta Area Chamber of Commerce.
