Williams pleads not guilty to murder and tampering charges

A Waynesfield man has pleaded not guilty to killing his estranged wife over a year ago.

45-year-old Brent Williams entered not guilty pleas to two counts of murder and one count of tampering with evidence. Williams allegedly murdered his wife, 35-year-old Erin Mulcahy on July 8th, 2017. He was arrested last week and is being held at the Auglaize County Correctional Center. Bond has been set at $500,000, but Williams' attorney Bill Kluge has asked that his bond be cut in half. Judge Fredrick Pepple will be taking it under advisement.

Williams has a pretrial set for October.
