LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A single vehicle crash sent one woman to the hospital Saturday afternoon. Around 1:20 p.m., first responders were called to South Main Street, where a car crashed off the side of the road through a bus stop and into a brick foundation before coming to a stop when it struck a utility pole. According to the Lima Police Department, it appeared that the driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle. She needed to be extricated from the car by the Lima Fire Department, and she was taken to the hospital in stable condition. There were no other passengers in the vehicle with her.
