Daniel Wood pleaded guilty to aggravated murder in Allen County Common Pleas Court.
Daniel Wood pleaded guilty to aggravated murder last week in Allen County Common Pleas Court. Wood was indicted on four other charges, but they were dropped because of his plea.
In January 2024, 76-year-old Lucinda Wright was found dead with multiple stab wounds, and Wood was arrested the next day after he was found driving the victim's car.
At the time of the offense, he had an outstanding warrant from the U.S. Navy for abandoning his post and was in the Lima area taking part in a rehab program.

Even though Daniel Wood is eligible for parole in 30 years, it is not guaranteed that he will be released.
