LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The City of Lima is making efforts to connect with neighborhoods across the community as it plans this year’s National Night Out.
“It’s basically everything that’s going on in Lima in the ’30s, but also what’s going on around the nation,” said Hannah Bergstedt, Public Engagement and Learning Coordinator at the Lima Public Library. “I think we all know the Great Depression — that’s what the 1930s are known for. But there were other things going on. And actually, Lima did better than a lot of communities during that time because of all of our industry, so we’ll be talking about all of that.”
