Two Shelby County men were seriously injured Saturday evening in a rollover crash just east of Sidney.
The fire was reported around 8:45 a.m. between mileposts 90 and 89 in Clinton Township, about a half-mile south of Sidney’s corporate limits. Sidney firefighters responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze, which was contained to the cab of the truck. Crews used both water and foam to put out the flames.
Around 12:30 p.m., Port Jefferson firefighters were called to 2990 Knoop Johnson Road in southeastern Shelby County. Â A male resident had to be rescued from the home and was taken to Wilson Health for treatment.
A Shelby County man was seriously hurt after his motorcycle was hit by farm equipment he was trying to pass outside of Fort Loramie.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, the 81-year-old homeowner, who had a history of Parkinson's disease, lost his footing and slipped into the pool while walking in the backyard with his wife. She ran to the road and flagged down a passing motorist, who called 9-1-1.

A Sidney woman was killed Friday morning after being hit by a semi while walking along the roadway.
Vivian Walker, 23, died from injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred just before 4:30 a.m. on State Route 66, south of Rangeline Road.
Jill Albers, 45, died from her injuries in the crash, which occurred on State Route 29 just south of Fort Loramie-Swanders Road.
A Shelby County woman was severely injured when a car she was working on fell on top of her on Thursday. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says the incident occurred just before noon in the 2900 block of River Road in Orange Township.
