MILLER CITY (WLIO) — Bryan avenged an earlier loss to Bath, eliminating the Wildcats 36-28 in a Division IV district semifinal.
Bath started strong from deep as Izzy McDermott and Alycen Stumbaugh knocked down early threes, with Mara Davis helping facilitate the inside-out attack. Allyson Harnishfeger added a finish at the rim as the Wildcats built an early edge.
But Bryan tightened up defensively and shifted the momentum in the second half, closing the door on Bath’s season. The Wildcats finish the year 13-11.
