Countdown to Kickoff: Celina looks to reload and rise in WBL after key senior losses

CELINA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Celina Bulldogs finished the 2024 season with a 6-5 overall record, going 5-4 in the Western Buckeye League and ending in a three-way tie for fourth place with Ottawa-Glandorf and Bath.
Their playoff run was cut short in Week 11 with a loss to Archbishop McNicholas, closing the book on a season that saw flashes of promise but also areas for growth.
Heading into 2025, Celina will need to reload on both sides of the football after graduating 11 seniors — including starting quarterback Bobby Morris and WBL First Team selection Dalton Chilcoat.
For ninth-year head coach Brennen Bader, the focus this offseason is clear: improve the Bulldogs’ performance away from home. Road consistency will be key if Celina wants to climb the WBL standings and make a deeper playoff push.
