ST. MARYS, Ohio (WLIO) — The Roughriders are coming off one of the most exciting playoff runs in West Central Ohio.
A dramatic win over Miami Trace in the opening round helped propel them to the regional semifinals, where they finished the 2024 season 10-3.
Now in his fifth year, head coach Bo Frye returns three starters on offense and four on defense. While postseason success is fresh in their minds, St. Marys still has its sights set on the Western Buckeye League championship — a title they’ve won 25 times, the most in school history.
The Roughriders open the 2025 season in Week 1 against Galion.
