KALIDA, Ohio (WLIO) — Crestview did just enough down the stretch to secure a 32–22 victory over Kalida in a non-conference girls basketball matchup.
Late in the fourth quarter, Kalida tried to mount a comeback while trailing by double digits. Addi Huber scored off a pass to cut the deficit to ten and give the Wildcats a spark.
Crestview responded with timely offense. Peyton Hoffman attacked the lane and connected on a floater, keeping the Knights firmly in control as the clock continued to wind down.
With solid defense in the closing minutes, Crestview was able to run out the clock and seal the 32–22 win over Kalida.
