FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) — The Findlay Oilers remain undefeated after rallying from a 13-point deficit to defeat Ohio Dominican, 27–20, and move to 8–0 on the season.
Findlay struck first in the opening quarter when quarterback Chase Harrison delivered a 28-yard touchdown pass to Denny Furlong. But Ohio Dominican answered behind a pair of local standouts. Former Lima Central Catholic quarterback Carson Parker connected with Kenton graduate Jayden Cornell in the second quarter to tie the game at 7–7.
Parker and Cornell continued to surge after halftime — linking up for a 43-yard deep ball, then scoring again on a 2-yard connection to give the Panthers a 20–7 lead in the third quarter.
That’s when Findlay flipped the momentum.
Findlay grad Sam Weihrauch recovered a fumble to set up the comeback drive, and Harrison found Aidan Guilbeau off the play action for another touchdown. With 20 unanswered in the second half, the Oilers completed the comeback win.
