Minster uses dominant third quarter in district semifinal win against Parkway

WAPAKONETA (WLIO) — Minster used a strong third quarter to break open a tight game and defeat Parkway 31-26 in the district semifinal nightcap.
Reece Albers scored the game’s first points, while Parkway answered behind Megan Hughes to take a one-point lead after the first. Kali Schmiesing and Madelyn Stover traded threes in a defensive battle that was tied 10-10 at halftime.
The Wildcats seized control in the third, outscoring the Panthers 15-5, highlighted by an Alivia Heckman drive. Minster advances to face Riverdale on Saturday at Lima Senior.
