New Knoxville advances past Fort Jennings, Albers eclipses 1,000-point milestone

NEW KNOXVILLE (WLIO) — New Knoxville protected home court in a Division VII sectional semifinal, defeating Fort Jennings at The Barn.
Paige Webb opened the scoring with a three, and Avery Albers added 13 points after a key steal and finish. Senior Addison Albers led all scorers with 18 points and surpassed 1,000 career points in the win.
Reese Hellman paced Fort Jennings with 13, but the Rangers pulled away in the second half to secure a 51-34 victory.
New Knoxville advances to face Kalida on Saturday at 2 p.m.
