MIDDLE POINT, Ohio (WLIO) — The Ottoville Big Green snapped Lincolnview’s five-match win streak with a four-set win on the road.

The Lady Lancers opened strong in the third set as Makynlee Dickinson set up Kara Suever, who found an opening for the first point.

Moments later, Ila Hughes fired in a service ace to tie things at 5-5. But Ottoville answered back. Briley Wertenberger and Vanessa Hilvers combined for a kill that pushed the Big Green lead to three.

The night was capped by Wertenberger setting up Kendall Schnipke for a powerful kill to seal the match.

Final score: Ottoville 3, Lincolnview 1.
