DELPHOS, Ohio (WLIO) — The Paulding Panthers continued their hot start to the season, improving to 3-0 after a 33-7 victory over Jefferson.
In the opening quarter, quarterback Colt Hunt connected with Jordan Manz on a quick slant, and the junior wideout sprinted to the end zone for the first touchdown of the game.
Jefferson looked to respond, as Dean Trentman broke tackles for a strong first-down run, but the Wildcats’ drive stalled.
On the ensuing possession, Jalen Manz found daylight for a Panther touchdown, extending Paulding’s lead.
From there, the Panthers controlled the game on both sides of the ball, securing a convincing 33-7 win.
