LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Week five of the high school boys basketball season delivered another slate of standout performances, and Lima Senior’s Willie Foster provided one of the highlights of the week.
Foster was named the K&M Contracting Play of the Week after throwing down an emphatic dunk during Lima Senior’s win over Louisville Trinity.
The play came off a fast break, with Shawn Foster banking the ball off the glass before Willie finished the sequence with a powerful catch and slam.
The moment energized the crowd and capped a strong night for Foster, who scored 15 points in the Spartans’ victory.
The Northern Kentucky commit has been a key contributor for Lima Senior, which remains undefeated on the season.
The connection between Shawn and Willie Foster appeared well-rehearsed, as the duo combined seamlessly on the highlight play that earned weekly honors.
Lima Senior will return to action next Sunday when the Spartans host Lakota West.
Until then, Willie Foster takes home recognition for one of the top plays of the week on the hardwood.
