A serious crash north of Kenton Friday morning send two to the hospital

The Hardin County sheriff's office was dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 68 and Township Road 110 in Pleasant Township.

HARDIN COUNTY, OHIO (WLIO) - Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Hardin County Friday morning. Just after 10:30 am, the Hardin County sheriff's office was dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 68 and Township Road 110 in Pleasant Township. They determined that a car being driven by Kalir Manns of Kenton failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection and drove into the path of a semi, driven by Robert Shenkel of Michigan. Manns was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was lifeflighted to St. Rita’s with serious injuries. The passenger of Mann's vehicle was also taken to St. Rita’s with potentially serious injuries. Shenkel was checked by EMS and released at the scene. The crash is under investigation with citations pending.
