A Step Above Dance Studio approached the school about an assembly to teach students about why we dance and different dance styles. The school jumped on board, and kids from kindergarten through 6th grade got a chance to learn about 4 different dance styles. From tap to hip hop and jazz to acro, a type of gymnastics, the students all joined in and had fun learning about the benefits of dance.

"We're all about providing well-rounded experiences, so not just academics. This is helping with the mental and physical growth of our students but also engaging with the community, which is something we are trying to do more and more of," said Courtney Epley, school counselor.
