17-year-old Albert McDowell will be returning to Allen County Common Pleas Court to be tried as an adult.
The grand jury has indicted McDowell on two counts of murder and one count of voluntary manslaughter, both with firearm specifications. McDowell is accused of the March 2016 shooting death of Daveon Petaway in front of Meat City.
This is the second time the Allen County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against McDowell for the same crime. His case was moved back to the juvenile court in January of this year because of an Ohio Supreme Court ruling that had to do with juveniles.
