The Allen County Republican Victory Center held its grand opening Thursday afternoon and will remain open for the rest of the campaign season. Special guests at the grand opening included Congressman Jim Jordan, Ohio Senate President Keith Faber, and several other representatives including all the local Republican candidates. The center is intended to serve as the party's call center and headquarters for volunteers, special events, and campaign gear.
"The other side of the aisle always wants to talk about the unity that isn't there for the Trump, Pence ticket, well certainly with the host of elected officials that we have here today, not only local, but Congressman Jordan and Senator Faber, Representatives, Cupp, Buchy and Sprague, I think speaks volumes," Allen County Republican Party Chairman, Keith Cheney, said.
The center located at 2062 North Cable Road will be open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
